An elastic rotatable member (1) conveniently usable as an image fixing member has a base member, a first primer layer (3), an elastic layer (4), a second primer layer (5) and a resin layer (6) in the order named. The first primer layer (3) has a thermal conductivity higher than that of the second primer layer (5). Using the elastic rotatable member (1), the sheet conveying property, releasability, wear resistance and durability are improved.
