Method of blow extrusion of containers (5) to hold liquids, pastes, powders, solids or gases including a coextrusion stage of layers of plastics of different colours or compositions forming one parison (4) from an extrusion head (1) with a variable tip to die separation, followed by a blowing stage. A stage of shearing layer(s) of the parison so that the flow of that layer is momentarily interrupted at the extrusion head by reducing the tip (3) to die (2) separation. Each shearing stage is followed by a release stage to reestablish the separation and the flow. Also claimed is the tip and die set up of the head to interrupt the material flow of one layer.
