Mortar is injected into the channel (14) between bricks (12, 13) by a gun which is provided with an accessory (10) having a base (11) which rests on the bricks (12, 13) and a shaping device (19). When the trigger is depressed mortar flows through gun and nozzle (7) into the channel (14). As the arrangement is moved in the direction of arrow 'A' the shaping device (19) provides the mortar (22) with its finished surface.
