A screen image directing apparatus is provided that relevantly controls an image directing output and a screen operation. The screen image directing apparatus including a screen of folded glass plates provided with a liquid crystal plate between the two glass plates, having a translucent mode of which liquid crystal is randomly arranged to block light when a first potential level is applied, and a transparent mode of which liquid crystal is arranged in one direction to thereby pass the light, a projector for projecting an image to the screen according to an image signal when the screen is of the translucent mode behind the screen, and an image supply unit for supplying the image signal of the image to be projected by the projector to the screen, further includes a controller for outputting a translucent mode select signal to select the translucent mode of the screen when the image signal is supplied to the projector and a transparent mode select signal to select the transparent mode of the screen when the supplying of the image signal is stopped, and a power supply controller for supplying the first potential level to the screen to turn off the screen according to the translucent mode select signal and the second potential level to the screen to turn on the screen according to the transparent mode select signal.
