There is provided an overcap which fits closely over a standard cap for a container (15). The overcap gives positive visible indications when it is removed and such indications cannot be reversed, thus visible evidence is provided when the overcap is removed or tampered with. The deformities which are observed upon the removal of the overcap are the servering of breakable tabs (5) connected to a handle (4) and the tearing of the overcap sidewall (7, 8), both of which are necessary for the removal of the overcap. |
