PURPOSE:A solution for treating adhesive that is obtained by mixing a fluid paraffin with a trichloroalkane such as chloroform, thus enabling an adhesive tape to be freely peelable from the substrate by applying it to the adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:The objective treating solution is obtained by mixing a fluid paraffin with a trichloroalkane such as chloroform, e.g., at 1:1 ratio. When the resultant solution is applied to the adhesive layer of an adhesive tape, the solvent in the solution such as chloroform dissolves not only the fluid paraffin but also the adhesive on the tape such as an acrylic resin to form a completely uniform mixture of the adhesive, fluid paraffin and solvent. Further, the adhesive and the fluid paraffin remain completely mixed, even after the solvent evaporates.
