PURPOSE:A polymer composition that contains a polyamide resin and a specific styrene-butadiene copolymer, thus showing very high failure characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) a polyamide resin and (B) a styrene-butadiene copolymer containing 45-80wt% of styrene. As the component B, styrene may be displaced with an unsaturated carboxylic acid, preferably acrylic acid up to 30wt%. Components A and B are added at an A/B ratio of (99-30)/(1-70), preferably (99-40)/(1-60), per 100pts.wt. of A+B. The additional use of a sulfur vulcanizer is more preferred, because component B is crosslinked.
