PURPOSE:To ensure well the amount of gas blown and to stabilize the formation of a mushroom by densely piercing many small holes in a solid rodlike body in the axial direction as a composite hole and placing such rodlike bodies in a dispersed state to form a nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Many small holes 5 are densely pierced in a solid rodlike body 6 in the axial direction as a composite hole 7, and such rodlike bodies 6 are placed in nonporous referactories 1 in a dispersed state to form a nozzle for blowing gas. When a small amount of gas is blown from the nozzle, operation can be carried out under sufficient pressure to prevent the penetration of a melt by the performance of the small holes 5. The amount of gas blown can be well reduced and a stable mushroom can be formed. |
