PURPOSE:To enable the high speed recording of a high resolution to be executed, by a method wherein many small holes for keeping ink are formed in a recording medium and the ink filled in the small hole is made to jet out by the pressure of the bubble generated by selectively heating the small hole coated by ink with the thermal element provided to a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:Ink 5 is kept to the film 3 consisting of the metal or heat resisting synthetic resin, etc. in which many fine holes are formed and the fine hole 1 is filled by the ink 5. When the fine hole 1 has reached the thermal element 9 part arranged to a thermal head 7, the thermal element 9 is instantly heated by impressing a voltage thereon and the ink 5 filled in the fine hole 1 is rapidly heated. An ink drop 11 is jetted by the pressure of a generated bubble to record recording paper. Therefore, because no nozzle is used, the clogging of the nozzle and the bubble retention in the nozzle do not occur. Therefore, the high speed recording of a high resolution becomes possible. |
