PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the using efficiency of storage capacity or a data processing speed by providing the titled system with a means for compressing data in accordance with a compression data descriptor and a means for restoring compression data. CONSTITUTION:A request part 2 inputs data from a data storage part 1, forms a compression data descriptor 10 consisting of a user identifier (ID) 11, a compression data ID 12, compression data length 13, compression data 14, etc., and operates a receiving part 3 to start a recognizing part 4, and compresses data by a compressing means 5. When data are compression data, the data are expanded and restored similarly by an expanding means 6. Consequently, data can be treated as compression data and the using efficiency of the storage capacity and the data processing speed can be improved. |
