<p>Prepn. of alkylamino-furanone derivs. (I) (R being H or polypeptide-link compatible protective gp.). The starting materials for (I) are dipeptides or dipeptide-esters (V) and novel cpds. of formula (IV). The reaction prod. of (IV) and (V) is (III), which is reduced to (II).
