PURPOSE:To ensure proper operation and prevent road surface damage and public nuisance due to dusts by burying in a tire tread a non-skid member socket plated with a spike pin and capable of free expansion and contraction, and supplying and discharging a compressed fluid to and from the buried socket. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 40 has been turned to the side of a terminal 41 at an OPR side, a solenoid valve 56 opens via a circuit converter 48, compressed air in a vessel 30 flows into a socket 2 buried for a spike pin, air pressure within a pressure line hole 5 rises and the spike pin projects from a tread surface, thereby embodying spike performance. When the air pressure has reached a constant level, a switch 60 works to close the solenoid valve 56. When the switch 40 has been turned to the side of a terminal 42 at a REL side, a solenoid valve 57 opens, air is discharged from the buried socket 2 for the contraction thereof and the spike pin is made to retreat, thereby restoring a normal tire condition. According to the aforesaid constitution, reliability is enhanced and damage to a road surface and public nuisance due to dusts can be prevented. |
