<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to control the opening of a waste gate valve at an adequate value without detecting the external temperature, by correcting the primary opening of the waste gate value determined responding to the engine operation condition, depending on the deflection between the object value and the actual value of the mass flow value. CONSTITUTION:A branch exhaust passage 4 to detour the turbine 2a of a turbocharger 2 is provided at an exhaust passage 3, and a waste valve 5 is installed in the passage 4. The valve 5 is driven by a diaphragm type actuator 11 through a link 12, and the operating pressure chamber 11c of the actuator 11 is linked to the valve chamber 13a of a control valve 13 which opens and closes an atmospheric release route through a passage 14. The passage 14 and an intake pipe 6 at the lower stream of a compressor 2b are linked by a passage 16 with an orifice 15. And depending on the deflection between the object mass flow value found from the outputs of an opening sensor 21 and a rotation sensor 23, and the mass flow value by an airflow meter 20, the primary opening value of the valve 5 determined depending on the operating condition is corrected.</p> |
