PURPOSE:To obtain the small diameter high performance pipe of one layer or multilayer building up by a powder body which was impossible to be made in the past by building up a one layer or multilayer plasma powder body on the external face of the hollow or solid round bar base metal in less than the specific outer diameter and removing the base metal by machining. CONSTITUTION:The Co alloy powder having excellent wear, corrosion and heat resistance, for instance, is built-up 2 by a plasma powder build-up method on the external face with rotating the hollow or solid round bar base metal 1 with the outer diameter in 40mm or less. The powder of the Mo group high speed steel which is more tough and of higher hardness is built-up 2a on the outer face if necessary. The base metal 1 is removed by cutting it by machining. The one layer or multilayer build-up high performance pipe having the inner diameter in 40mm or less which was impossible to be made in the past can be manufactured easily. |
