PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing a specific vegetable protein and gelatin and suitable as a protein raw material of a super-low calorific food for the remedy of obesity. CONSTITUTION:The titled composition can be produced by mixing (A) 1-5pts. wt. of a vegetable protein containing all essential amino acids for human and having a protein score of >=35, e.g. soybean, wheat, bean, sesame, nut, etc., with (B) 1pt.wt. of gelatin such as water-soluble protein, etc., prepared by boiling collagen or bone in water. A super-low calorific food for the remedy of obesity is prepared by mixing 1pt.wt. of the above composition with 0.7-2.0pts.wt. of a sugar such as glucose, starch, etc., 0.1-0.5pt.wt. of an essential fatty acid of e.g. vegetable or animal oil and fat and various inorganic substances, vitamins, etc. The content of the titled composition in the food is >=30wt%. |
