CONSTITUTION:Since the end face 6a of the protecting member 6 opposed to the magnetic recording medium 8 is setback from the end face 5a of the insulating film 5 opposed to the magnetic recording medium 8, a field face obtained by combining the insulating film 5 with the protecting member 6 is set backed from the contact end face 5a with the magnetic recording medium 8 and a binding material layer 7 does not position on the contact end face 5a with the magnetic recording medium 8. Moreover, since the incline guide face (b) is formed on the end face 6a of the protecting member 6, the magnetic recording medium 8 is naturally and smoothly contacted with the end face of a magnetic film 2 which is a recording and reproducing part and the favorable head touch can be obtained. thus, even if the phenomenon, such as the adhesion of dust on the binding material 7 lying between the insulating film 5 and the protecting member 6, the ooze of the binding material, etc., occurs, the running quality and the head touch is not deteriorated and the damage is not done to the medium. |
