PURPOSE:To prepare a high quality orifice plate having a precise caliber with high efficiency, by forming a base plate with a projection of a predetermined diameter on the upper surface thereof from a resin material and applying a film forming material to the upper surface of said base plate by plasma spraying to form the layer composed of the film forming material becoming an orifice plate to the entire upper surface of the base plate except the projection and subsequently removing the base plate. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 1 having a projection 1a with a predetermined diameter on the upper surface thereof is formed of a resin material. Next, stainless steel is applied to said base plate 1 from above by plasma spraying to form a stainless steel layer 2a to the entire upper surface of the base material 1 except the projection 1a. Thereafter, the base plate 1 is removed using an org. solvent to obtain an orifice plate 2 made of stainless steel. |
