PURPOSE:To prevent an original from being borken by generating a warning at a specific time after the completion of a copying operation when the original is not taken out, and also generating the warning even when an original conveying device is to be used with the original left. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine, the automatic original conveying device (ADF), and CPUs 301 and 302 perform their processes while transmitting and receiving signals mutually. A buzzer Bz is connected to the CPU302 through a transistor (TR), and the buzzer Bz sounds the specific time later when the original is erroneously left and also sounds again for warning if the original is still left when the ADF is to be used. The original conveying device is lifted and the original is set manually; when the original is left the specific time after the copying operation, the warning is generated, and when the original conveying device is to be used in said state, the warning is generated again. |
