PURPOSE:To perfectly remove chromatic aberration, by making a convex lens system movable so that the light having a wavelength component equal to the emitting wavelength of a monochrometer can be formed into an image at the position of an incident slit. CONSTITUTION:The diffraction lattice 17 of a fluorescent monochrometer 6 is preliminarily adjusted in matching relation to a wavelength to be measured. At this time, the positions of the lenses 8, 9 of a convex lens system 5 in the optical axis direction thereof are also automatically set in matching relation to the wavelength to be measured. The fluorescence emitted from a specimen 2 is incident to the convex lens system 5 and the light passing therethrough gathers to the incident slit 15 of a fluorescent monochrometer 6. At this time, fluorescence having a wavelength component equal to the wavelength to be measured is certainly formed into an image at the position of the slit 15. The fluorescence passing through the slit 15 passes through the monochrometer 6 and only fluorescence having the wavelength to be measured reaches a light detector 3. The output of the light detector 3 is further amplified by an amplifier 4 to be inputted to a computer 7. The intensity of the fluorescence having the wavelength to be measured is operated by the computer 7 to be displayed on a display 35. |
