PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of information for specifying data regions by providing areas of the same data structure as the data structure in areas for recording ordinary data for the purpose of discriminating the data regions to the respective data regions. CONSTITUTION:The respective data regions 3 have the areas 40 for discriminating said data regions. Each of the area 40 has the same data structure as the data structure in the areas 41-4N for recording ordinary data and has internally the information 12, 13 capable of specifying the respective data regions such as band numbers and sector numbers. Since the reading and processing of the information 12, 13 such as band numbers and sector numbers together with the ordinary data can be thereby permitted, the need for a processing circuit to be exclusively used as in the conventional method is eliminated and the exclusively used as in the conventional method is eliminated and the processing circuit is extremely simplified. In addition, the information 12, 14 such as band numbers and sector numbers can be read as they are and can be handled in the same manner as heretofore. |
