PURPOSE:To prevent excess sintering and creep in spite of the use of the minimum requirement amount of fine carbonate powder by coating the surface of metal powder with fine ceramic powder, molding the powder in an electrolyte together with a molding auxiliary, and burning out the organic substance such as the molding auxiliary after assembling in a cell. CONSTITUTION:The surface of metal powder is coated with fine ceramic powder, then the powder is molded in an electrode together with a molding auxiliary. The electrode is assembled in a cell, and the cell is heated to burn out the organic substance such as molding auxiliary. In this process, at the same time, metal powder which is not covered with ceramic powder is sintered. Thereby, the electrode can fulfill its function and the ceramic powder covering the surface of the metal powder can prevent excess sintering and creep. |
