PURPOSE:To facilitate the forming process of a magnetic flux return path, the grinding process of a sliding face between a magnetic recording medium and a head and the adjustment of the position of the magnetic substance against the sliding face of the magnetic recording medium by forming, at least, a magnetic film and a coil made of a thin film on the surface of a substrate so as to adhere an insulating film and providing the magnetic substance on the insulating film. CONSTITUTION:Since the magnetic films 2 and 3 and the coil 4, made of thin film, formed on the substrate 1 are covered with the insulating film 5 on which the magnetic substance 9 is provided, the magnetic substance 9 can be used as the magnetic flux return path. Therefore it is unnecessary to form the magnetic flux return path as the thin film, so that the efficiency of production is improved. Moreover by adjusting the arranging position of the magnetic substance 9, the magnetic substance 9 can be easily baked by a measure necessary for a drop-in and suppressing an error. And by adjusting the position of the magnetic substance 9 the end face of the magnetic substance 9 is removed from the sliding face of the magnetic recording medium 8, so that the grinding area can be minimized and the grinding process can be facilitated. |
