The present invention relates to a method for regulating the temperature inside a greenhouse or a forcing frame, as well as to the device enabling this method to be implemented. This device is characterised in that it comprises a lifting or controlling arm 4, which can move in a vertical plane about a pivot pin 3 integral with a vertical, fixed support 1, a cylinder 7 extending longitudinally along the axis of the said support 1, arranged in its top end part, above the pivot pin 3 and attached to this support 1, filled with wax and actuating, by allotropic deformation, an internal piston driving a rod 10 along the axis of the support 1 by virtue of a guide element 11 integral with the support 1, this rod 10 being located at a distance from the pivot pin 3 sufficient to create the necessary lifting moment on the end 14 of the arm 4. <IMAGE>
