<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of useless alarms, by removing an ATC transponder response signal discriminated from other response signals. CONSTITUTION:A filtering circuit 8 is attached to a response detector 5 of an airplane collision preventor 1 to determine whether other airplanes exist or not on the ground. A response signal received with a receiver 4 is applied to a framing pulse analyzer 8-1 through the detector 5. A framing pulse gamma alone is extracted with the analyzer 8-1 from among response signals to be sent to a suppressed pulse generator 8-2, which generates a suppressed pulse gamma' to keep ATC transponder response signals of other airplanes stationed, for instance, from being inputted a computer 6. Thus, an airplane flying near an airport receives ATC transponder response signals of airplanes stationed thereby enabling the suppressing of useless alarms as generated from a display device 7.</p> |
