PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of a recorder by incorporating a dye, polymerizable monomer, photopolymn. initiator, etc., into microcapsules. CONSTITUTION:The microcapsules 3 contain the dye, polymerizable monomer, photopolymn. initiator, and photosensitizer and has the property to cure according to the exposure as the monomer is polymerized by exposure. Multi-color recording is permitted by mixing the microcapsules which are changed in the kinds of the dyes and coating such microcapsules. After a recording medium 1 is exposed by a light source 4 via a lens 5, the medium is brought into pressurized contact with an image receiving body 6 by rollers 7, 8. The uncured (unexposed) capsules are broken by the pressurized contact by which the internal dyes are transferred to the image receiving body 6 and a recording image 9 is formed. The recording medium is inexpensive and a recording system is simple and is of a completely dry process; therefore, the reduction of the size and weight of the device and the improvement in the economy thereof are permitted. |
