An ignition coil 1 for a multi-cylinder engine which is provided with a primary coil 1a, a secondary coil 1b, an iron core 8 having an outer circumference on which the primary coil and secondary coil are wound, a pair of input terminals 15, (16) connected to the respective ends of the primary coil, a pair of high-voltage connecting terminals 5, 6 connected to the respective ends of the secondary coil, in which the primary coil, the secondary coil, the iron core, the input terminals, and the high-voltage connecting terminals are molded integrally with each other with insulating synthetic resin 13, and in which one 6 of the pair of high-voltage connecting terminals is directly connected to an ignition plug P2 of the engine while the other high-voltage connecting terminal 5 is connected to another ignition plug P1 of the engine through a high-voltage cable 11. <IMAGE>
