The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for feeding animals with at least two storage containers for feed components, from which feed conveyors are charged which lead to the animal stalls, and on which the release apparatuses for the meating places to be charged are connected, the feed quantity and/or the composition of the feed being variable in accordance with biological and/or economical requirements through the control of the conveying rate and duration of conveying of the individual feed conveyors for correspondingly assigned release apparatuses in the region of the eating places.
