A safety lock is provided with two bolts (3, 4) which come under the effect of a spring (F1) loading them in the direction of extension and which belong a key-actuable tumbler (10) which makes it possible to block the bolts (3, 4) against displacement in both their retracted position and their extended position, and with a feeler (5) which, because its head projecting on the lock fore-end side strikes the frame when the door is slammed shut, can be pressed in counter to a spring effect and thereby lifts out the bolt tumbler (10). So that such a safety lock can also be actuated from inside without a key, the two bolts (3, 4) are drive-connected to one another for their common single-turn extension and retraction movement and are to be retracted not only by key actuation, but also by a handle follower (7) which engages on one bolt, the so-called holding bolt (3), and which at the same time also makes it possible to lift out the bolt tumbler (10). Advantageously, the drive connection between the holding bolt (3) and the other bolt, the so-called lock bolt (4), is designed as a coupling (9), and the lock bolt (4), when appropriately uncoupled from the holding bolt (3), is to be extended and retracted additionally for a second turn by key actuation. <IMAGE>
