<p>The tooth is such that it comprises a flank (1B) situated inside the pitch line (PA) (not completely circular) as a circle involute determined by a pressure angle (P) and also comprises a face (2B) such that its current point (M) is determined by the intersection of the flank (1A) of the cooperating tooth with the tangent to the circles defining the flank (1A) and passing by the instantaneous contact point (N) of the pitch lines (P'A, P'B). The pitch lines may be arcs of a circle, logarithmic spiral arcs, elliptic arcs or a succession of these arcs along an open or closed curve to form a gear. Certain sections of the pitch lines may be deprived of teeth.</p> |
