The invention relates to a method of anchoring a structural part in, in particular, concrete, first of all at least a first bore being made and a retaining dowel for the structural part being fixed in the bore. In the method, in order to improve the anchoring, a second bore is made such that, intersecting the first bore, it extends relative to said first bore such that it diverges from the bore mouth, and that a securing element interacting with the dowel is provided such that its region, directed away from the retaining dowel, is in alignment with the neighbouring wall of the divergent bore.
