The polymerizable mass is intended for the production of non-hardening moulded elements, in particular of dental prostheses and consists of a mixture of: (a) urethane oligomers with one or several polymerization-inducing acrylate and/or methacrylate groups; (b) one or several C1-C14-alkylacrylates, -methacrylates, -bi- or -tri(meth)acrylates; (c) polymerization-inducing components selected from the group of benzyl ketals, ketoxine esters, benzophenones, camphor quinones, in particular acetophenone derivatives and acyl phosphine oxide compounds, whereby the components (a) and (b) are contained in the mass in such a ratio that the latter has a Shore hardness of 20 to 80, preferably 40 to 60 and a minimum breaking strength of 0.3 N/m<2> in the polymerized state. This mass is processed in such a manner that the flexible remaining moulded elements are produced separately and are inserted, in the polymerized final shape, in the cavity for the manufacture of the entire prosthesis and the remaining cavity on the prosthesis positioning side is filled with the hard-polymerizing plastic and polymerized. |
