<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an automobile with a low fuel consumption, at a moderate expense and easy to drive by driving each wheel with an individual motor. CONSTITUTION:The output shaft of an internal combustion engine 1 is connected to a rotating shaft of a DC generator 3 via a flywheel 2. A storage battery 12 is connected between output terminals of said generator 3 to accumulate a surplus electricity generated and to supply a lack of electricity. Electric power for driving motors 8-11 is supplied via individually provided respective power control circuits 13-16 and an output shaft of each motor is connected to each of wheels 4-7. An arithmetic circuit 17 reads a control information from an ROM memory 35 on the basis of output of encoders 18-21, a handle 26, an accelerator 27 and a brake 28 and sends said information to the power control circuits 13-16. In this manner, an automobile with a small loss of power and a high efficiency can be obtained.</p> |
