<p>PURPOSE:To exclude the deterioration of image quality such that the positional shift of a dot is generated, by a method wherein a light emitting time is added so as to extend in the before-and-behind direction of intermediate scanning centering around said scanning when the light emitting time is given as the sum of time sharing scanning and timing is taken so that the center thereof is aligned in all of dots. CONSTITUTION:Since the brightnesses of the elements of a light emitting diode array are not constant and are irregular at every dot, the number of light emitting times are determined from the light emitting time T0 in one scanning. In controlling the light emitting time, centering around the central scanning C of scannings of n-times, the light emitting time is successively added to the before and after scannings at every one step. Herein, the central scanning means (n+1)/2-th scanning when the number (n) of scannings are an odd number and n/2 or (n+2)/2-th scanning when (n) is an even number. The center of the light emitting timing of each light emitting time is C1 or C2 and the max. shift thereof is T0/2. As mentioned above, since the timing center of the light emitting time of each dot is aligned, a high quality recording image having no dot positional shift is obtained.</p> |
