PURPOSE:To obtain a sufficient mold clamping force and to improve an energy- saving effect, by a method wherein mold clamping of a mold is held by a brake mechanism by disconnecting hydraulic pressure to a mold clamping mechanism after completion of the mold clamping of the mold. CONSTITUTION:When mold clamping of a stationary mold 2 and movable mold 5 is completed, a controller 23 holds a mold clamping state by actuating a solenoid brake 10 along with suspension of hydraulic pump 8. At the time of a dwell process upon injection and filling into a mold cavity, a command of dwell pressure set up in the controller 23 according to a dwell time is applied to an injection servocontrol part 21 from the controller 23. The injection servocontrol part 21 compares the command of the dwell pressure with a detected value of pressure from a pressure detector 19 and an electromotive servomotor 16 is kept at a predetermined dwell state by performing driving control of the electromotive servomotor 16. Then after completion of the dwell process, the cooling of a material in the mold is performed. |
