<p>PURPOSE:To flatten the output of a magnetic head without being effected by the surface of a magnetic tape and an environmental humidity by detecting the tension difference in the width direction of the magnetic tape and controlling so that the tension distribution of the tape may be uniformized. CONSTITUTION:In case of the output level reproduced from the magnetic head core 34 of a tension detecting magnetic head 23 being smaller than the output level reproduced from a magnetic head core 35, a tape guide 8 is inclined in the direction the upper end tension in the width direction of a magnetic tape 3 is increased by controlling an inclination controller 21 by a driving circuit 30. On the other hand, in case of the output level reproduced from the core being larger than the output level reproduced from the core 35, the guide 8 is inclined in the direction that the lower end tension in the width direction of the tape 3 is increased by the inclination controller 21. The action similar to the above is performed as to the tension detecting magnetic head 24 of the other part, comparator circuit 31 and driving circuit 32. The tension distribution in the width direction of the tape 3 is uniformized, the contact state between the tape 3 and magnetic head is constantly kept and a good picture can be obtd.</p> |
