PURPOSE:To machine and polish a groove easily to be formed in a spiral shaped forming member, so as to attempt to obtain high accuracy by dividing a forming die body from a spiral shaped forming member and connecting the spiral shaped forming member to the forming die body through a key and a key groove. CONSTITUTION:A forming die 11 is constituted by a forming die body 12 and a spiral shaped forming member 13 which forms a groove 14. This spiral shaped forming member 13 is connected to the forming die body 12 through a key 15 and a key groove 16 and formed to be able to be divided. Accordingly, the spiral shaped forming member 13 which forms the groove 14 can be divided from the forming die body 12 and to be en open type, and when the groove 14 having a draft angle 18 is machined at the spiral shaped forming member 13, the machining and polishing can be executed easily and groove with high accuracy can be obtained. As a result, on the surface of a spiral shaped gear tooth part of a scroll member, a uniform resin layer can be spread in form of a coating. |
