TELESCOPING CRANE

A crane for supporting a cine or video camera comprises a fulcrum support (50) on which a main boom (40) is mounted with a first beam (100) telescopically extendable from the front end of said main boom. A second beam (200) telescopically extends from said first beam and a counterweight structure extends from the rear end of said main boom. The counterweight structure and the beams are interconnected such that as said first beam and said second beam extend in one direction, said counterweight structure extends in the opposite direction thereby substantially maintaining balance about said fulcrum support.
