摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a tuck-in phenomenon when a vehicle is decelerated being rapidly turned, by displacing the steering ratio characteristic in a direction of the same phase while changing the width of this displacement on the basis of an arithmetic value of a displacement width arithmetic part in accordance with the deceleration of a wheel, when the vehicle is in deceleration. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor 50, which controls the steering characteristic of a rear wheel, is actuated to be controlled by an output from a control unit 100. The control unit 100 is equipped with a hysteresis setting part 102, which obtains an arithmetic car speed V' so as to obtain the hysteresis, displacing steering ratio of front and rear wheels in a direction of the same phase from the basic steering characteristic, when a vehicle is placed in a deceleration condition, and a displacement width arithmetic part 103 which calculates a displacement width alpha of the hysteresis, provided in the arithmetic car speed V' in the time of deceleration, in accordance with the deceleration of a wheel. And a steering device, constituting the displacement width alpha of the hysteresis so as to be changed in accordance with the deceleration of the vehicle, prevents the rear wheel from being rapidly steered in the reverse phase.
