PURPOSE:To produce enhanced filter and antihalation effects by incorporating specified dye compds. into a silver halide photographic sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of dye compd. represented by formula I and at least one kind of dye compd. represented by formula II or III are incorporated into a silver halide emulsion layer. In the formulae I-III, each of X, Y and Z is cyano, carboxy, alkylcarbonyl, arylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, carbamoyl, sulfonyl or sulfamoyl, L is methine, each R1, R2, R5, R6, R9, and R10 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, hydroxy, carboxy, substd. amino, carbamoyl, sulfamoyl or alkoxycarbonyl, each of R3, R4, R7, R8, R11 and R12 is H, alkyl or aryl and R13 us aryl. Since the dye compds. having proper spectral absorption and causing no diffusion to other layer are incorporated, an enhanced filter effect can be produced. |
