PURPOSE:To replenish a developer at optimum timing by providing sensor which detects the presence of a photosensitive lithograph and a sensor which detects the degree of fatigue of the developer and replenishing a replenisher in accordance with this degree of fatigue. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive lithograph 34 is sent between an inserting roll 32 and an ejecting roll 36, and the developer is circulated from a saucer 40 by a pump 46 and is sprayed from a spray 38 to the lithograph 34 to develop it. An insertion sensor 60 of the lithograph 34 and a sensor 64 which detects the degree of fatigue of the developer are provided. The presence existence of the lithograph 34 is detected by the sensor 60, and the degree of fatigue of the developer staying on the lithograph 34 is detected by the sensor 64. The degree of fatigue of the developer is detected at intervals of a minute time in the time, when lithograph 34 passes between rolls 32 and 36, by the control of a microcomputer 54 and its average value is operated. The average value is compared with a prescribed value, and as the result, a replenisher 58 is replenished to the developer in the saucer 40 from a replenishing tank 50 on demand. Since the degree of fatigue of the developer is detected, the replenisher is replenished most suitably. |
