PURPOSE:To provide a titled carriage which performs welding while traveling along the curved part of a weld line by attaching two profiling rollers having magnetic force in parallel with each other in such a way that the rollers overlap partly on each other to a traveling vehicle body on which a welding torch is mounted. CONSTITUTION:A welding torch 44 is mounted by a fixture 45 to a vehicle body 17 which is made travelable on a traveling plane by means of traveling wheels 20 provided in the lower part. Two profiling rollers 9, 10 are attached thereto by paralleling the respective revolving shafts with each other. The rollers 9, 10 are formed by providing a permanent magnet 21 between rings 22, 22 consisting of an Al alloy and providing an iron alloy layer 23 between a gunmetal bushing 24 and the outside circumferential part to provide magnetic force. The distance between the revolving shafts thereof is set at the size at which the rollers 9, 10 overlap partly on each other when viewed in the direction parallel with the revolving shafts. The carriage for the welding torch is moved in contact with the surface of the material to be welded while the rollers 9, 10 are rotated by a roller 26 of a ferromagnetic material driven by a motor 25, by which the specified distance from the weld line is maintained in the curved part as well. |
