PURPOSE:To improve the stability of a color developing soln. and to control the rise of fog during continuous processing by carrying out processing with a developing soln. contg. an arom. prim. amine color developing agent and at least one kind of specified compd. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photographic sensitive material is processed with a color developing contg. an arom. prim. amine color developing agent and at least one kind of compd. represented by the formula. The pref. amount of the compd. represented by the formula in the developing soln. is 0.05-30g/l, especially 0.1-15g/l. The pref. amount of the developing agent in the developing soln. is about 0.1-20g/l, especially about 0.5-10g/l. The color developing soln. has remarkably improved stability and color developing power, so even when processing is carried out with the developing soln. after storage, the rise of fog and a change of gradation are remarkably controlled and a color image having superior photographic characteristics is obtd. |
