<p>PURPOSE:To carry out cell fusion of two kinds of cells, one for one, surely and continuously, by making cells flow at proper intervals by a sheath-shaped laminar flow, joining the cells at the junction part of two channels and adding electrical pulses. CONSTITUTION:A sheath-shaped laminar flow in sheath flow cells 5 and 15 are controlled and each one of two kinds of cells is controlled at a given position of channel section. Pressure of compressed air is adjusted by flow rate control valves 8 and 18 through light detectors 7 and 17 and a control device 22, the two kinds of cells are controlled in such a way that the cells are joined at a junction channel 21, electrical pulses are applied from electrodes 24a and 24b and the cells are subjected to cell fusion.</p> |
