<p>PURPOSE:To perform the input of the position information on a display screen with no contact by interrupting laser beams radiated vertically and horizontally in a grid form by means of fingers, etc. CONSTITUTION:A frame part 20 attached to the front outer frame of the screen of a display terminal equipment 11 contains an X-direction laser irradiating part 21, a Y-direction laser irradiating part 23, X-direction laser detectors 221-22m and Y-direction laser detectors 241-24n respectively. Then fingers or other objects are put into the frame 20 to interrupt laser beams 41i and 42j. Thus the coordinate signals 201i and 202j are outputted from laser detectors 22i and 24j respectively. These signals 201i and 202j are supplied to a laser coordinate detecting part 25. The part 25 calculates the coordinates of the positions where the laser beams are interrupted based on both signals 201i and 202j and sends this calculated position coordinate signal 203 to a computer 10.</p> |
