摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To control the number of microorganisms in a microorganism reactor to a desired value so that efficient microorganism reaction is continued by providing a recovery amt. control means for controlling the amt. of the microorganisms to be recovered into one chamber of a microorganism recovering device. CONSTITUTION:The microorganisms such as methane bacteria are fermented in the microorganism reactor 10. The substrate liquid (e.g., acetic acid) which is supplied from the outside into one chamber and flows out into the reactor 10 and the effluent which flows from the reactor 10 into the other chamber and flows out to the outside contact each other via a perforated membrane 5 provided between the two chambers and the microorganisms in the above- mentioned other chamber are recovered into the above-mentioned one chamber. The amt. of the microorganisms to be recovered into the above-mentioned one chamber is controlled in the recovery amt. control means 13. As a result, the number of the microorganisms in the microorganisms reactor is controllable to the desired value and the efficient microorganism reaction can be continued.</p>
