PURPOSE:To preclude misinput operation by inhibiting input operation by an input means when an IC card with an input means is inserted into an external device. CONSTITUTION:When the IC card 10 having a keyboard part 12 with three states of an on-line function used by using a cash dispenser (CD), an off-line function such as an electronic calculator function operating on the IC card itself, and a wait state wherein only the time is counted is inserted into the CD device, the key input of the IC card is locked to preclude misinput operation. When the IC card is used in on-line mode in the CD device, a key-lock signal from the CPU 28 in the card 10 is supplied to a keyboard control part 122. Consequently, a row selector 120 is fixed at '0'. Namely, a row and a column side are held at the same signal level to place the keyboard part 12 in a locked state. |
