PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for printing image capable of easily printing a bar code image in colors matched to the reading standard of a bar code. SOLUTION: The arrangement of bar code is set while specifying the arrangement of two kinds of bars in the bar code respectively arranging at least one first bar and one second bar having mutually different light reflection factors, the first bar color to be the print color of the first bar is set, the second bar color to be the print color of the second bar is set so as to match the combination with the first bar color to the reading standard on the basis of the prescribed bar code reading standard specifying the condition of a reflection factor difference between two kinds of bars, a bar code image as the print image of the bar code arranging the first bar in the first bar color and the second bar in the second bar color is printed on a print object on the basis of the bar code arrangement, the first bar color and the second bar color.
