A conservatory roof construction includes a ridge member 12 and a plurality of glazing bars 13 each extending away from and having one end supported by ridge member 12. One end of each glazing bar 13 bears on a respective support plate 46 pivoted to ridge member 12. There is means for selectively setting the relative angle between plate 46 and ridge member 12. The means comprises an arcuate receptor 50 centred on the pivot axis of support plate 46, having a plurality of spaced engagement means with any one of which the end of the support plate remote from its pivotal connection to the ridge member may be engaged.
