The process for landfilling filter dusts from the refuse incineration plants is carried out by first either briquetting, pelletising, or extruding the filter dusts if necessary after an aqueous leaching or first setting stage with addition of water and if necessary of organic or inorganic binders, then, if necessary, coarsely grinding the product and then coating it water-tightly or sealing it according to Proctor and landfilling it or accommodating it below ground in a pasty state.
