PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a contact roll supporting member and a traverse device from being increased in scale, being complicated and being increased in weight and to easily and surely perform a thread passing operation between the contract roll supporting member and the traverse device in a state that tip parts of the contact roll supporting member and the traverse device are integrally connected. SOLUTION: In a take-up machine in which a contact roll supporting member 6 freely rotatably supporting a contact roll 7 on a machine frame and a traverse device are projectingly provided in a parallel state to the machine frame, tip parts of the contact roll supporting member 6 and the traverse device are integrally connected by a connection means 9 having a threading part.
